Argentina tourism: August festivals and Neuquén travel promotions

Argentina is preparing for a series of cultural and seasonal tourism events in August 2026. A national holiday on Monday, August 17, following Children's Day, is expected to drive travel demand for long weekends.

In Bariloche, the National Snow Festival will feature traditional activities, including torch descents and nautical parades. In Corrientes, Paso de la Patria will host the National Dorado Fishing Festival from August 14 to 17.

In the northern region of Neuquén, NeuquenTur is offering a 3x2 accommodation promotion from August 14 to 17 in the towns of Manzano Amargo, Los Miches, Huinganco, Las Ovejas, and Varvarco. Additionally, the Banco Provincia del Neuquén Benefit Club provides interest-free installment plans for hotel stays through September 30, 2026.
