Argentina tourism highlights Cafayate wine and El Calafate glaciers

Argentina is seeing a rise in regional tourism focused on diverse landscapes and local traditions. In the northern Salta province, Cafayate has become a prominent destination for high-altitude winemaking within the Calchaquí Valleys. The region is particularly noted for its Torrontés white wine grapes and the scenic Wine Route, which allows visitors to explore boutique vineyards and the Quebrada de las Conchas Natural Reserve.

In the southern Patagonia region, El Calafate serves as a strategic hub for glacier tourism in Santa Cruz province. Key attractions include the Perito Moreno Glacier, as well as navigations to the Spegazzini and Upsala glaciers.
