Argentina towns advance health centers and street lighting upgrades

In Lincoln, municipal officials Gonzalo Pérez and Public Works Secretary Rocío Guano inspected the Fonavi neighbourhood and announced the installation of LED streetlights to improve public safety and modernise lighting.

In Villa Allende, residents met with Health Secretary Cecilia Rouadi to discuss the still‑unfinished Hospital Gato Romero. Although construction is complete, the hospital cannot open because equipment, furniture and medical devices have not yet been supplied by the provincial government, and no opening date has been set.

In the Valentina Sur Urban neighbourhood of Neuquén, a door‑to‑door survey by a local commission identified persistent problems with street cleaning and security. Ongoing works include paving, water and sewage networks, and the imminent inauguration of a new health centre, while increased police patrols and youth‑support programmes have reduced crime and homelessness.
