Paraná hosts large digital‑use and cyberbullying training for 1,500 students

Over 1,500 students, teachers, parents and specialists attended a two‑day training in the Centro Provincial de Convenciones of Paraná, part of the #HablemosDe initiative promoted by the Entre Ríos government and the Consejo General de Educación (CGE). The program addressed digital consumption, cyberbullying and related mental‑health concerns, with simultaneous workshops for pupils and for adults.

CGE president Carlos Cuenca highlighted that children now get their first mobile phone at an average age of nine years and six months and that about 40 % of students gamble online. A new partnership with the Observatorio de Cibercrimen y Evidencia Digital en Investigaciones Criminales (Ocedic) will provide tools and ongoing support for schools. Participants received practical resources for prevention, detection and collective response to the challenges of digital technology in everyday life.
