Argentina trial of 17 suspects in Corrientes child's disappearance as families search for missing retirees

Two years after the disappearance of 5‑year‑old Loan Danilo Peña in Corrientes, a unified criminal case will go to oral trial on 16 June. Seventeen people, including the child's aunt, her husband, a former police chief and other officials, face charges ranging from kidnapping and concealment to falsifying testimony and drug supply.
