Argentina unveils its 2026 World Cup kit ahead of round‑of‑16 clash

The Argentine national football team will wear its traditional albiceleste jersey, paired with white shorts and socks, for the round‑of‑16 match against Cape Verde at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The kit, part of Adidas' 2022‑2026 collection, features three shades of light blue as a tribute to the three World Cup titles (1978, 1986, 2022), gold detailing for the extra star earned in Qatar, and the “1893” inscription referencing the AFA’s founding year.

A matching jacket from Adidas' EQT line, sold to fans, is priced at 169,999 Argentine pesos, while the professional jersey costs 219,999 pesos. The jacket is already out of stock in most stores due to high demand.
