Argentina automates AUH health and school requirement verification
The Argentine government has implemented a new system to automate the verification of requirements for the Universal Child Allowance (AUH). Under Resolution 508/2026, the Ministry of Human Capital has established a digital information exchange between ANSES, the Ministry of Health, and the Secretariat of Education.
This measure aims to simplify administrative processes for beneficiaries with children aged 5 to 17. Previously, families had to manually present physical documentation or digital certificates to prove health controls, vaccination compliance, and school attendance to access the 20% portion of the allowance that is monthly withheld. With the new system, state agencies will automatically cross-reference data to validate these conditions.
For children aged four and under, the system will verify health and vaccination records. If the automatic data exchange fails to confirm compliance, beneficiaries retain the option to present documentation manually at ANSES offices.
In separate regulatory updates, the Ministry of Health also announced a 1.7% increase in fees for disability benefit services, effective September 2026, based on the August Consumer Price Index (CPI). Additionally, in Tierra del Fuego, the Social Security Fund (CPSPTF) approved provisional mobility coefficients for seven provincial and municipal employment scales to update retirement benefits.
