Argentina updates customs service fees and speeds tax balance reductions in Buenos Aires
The Agency of Collection and Customs Control (ARCA) approved new tariff tables for extraordinary customs services performed outside regular hours. The updated fees, outlined in General Resolutions 5877/26 and related annexes, take effect upon publication in the official bulletin.
The Buenos Aires Province Revenue Agency (ARBA) reported that its "Riesgo 0, SAF 0" regime has prevented the accumulation of about 8.48 billion pesos in tax credit balances over six months. By automatically recalculating retention and perception rates for over 10,000 taxpayers—most in commerce and services—the program kept funds in the productive circuit, accelerated refunds within 72 hours, and reduced the overall stock of tax credits from three months of revenue to less than one month.
