Governor Rogelio Frigerio adds 24 ambulances and emergency gear to Entre Ríos health system
Governor Rogelio Frigerio led a ceremony in Paraná to deliver 24 new ambulances, five emergency motorcycles, a high‑resolution ecograph and an automated external defibrillator to the provincial public‑health network. The equipment was donated by the Argentine delegation to the Salto Grande Joint Technical Committee (CTM).
The distribution plan, explained by Health Minister Daniel Blanzaco, assigns 15 ambulances to inter‑urban transfers and nine smaller units to the 107 emergency service in the province’s larger towns, prioritising hospitals with the oldest or most‑used vehicles. Frigerio emphasized the need to “prioritise” limited resources and highlighted the renewal of a fleet where half the previous ambulances were over ten years old. Vice‑governor Alicia Aluani underscored the purchase as a concrete step to strengthen the province’s health response capability.
