Argentina women's football honors club legend Miguez and provincial cup champions

Club Luján presented a commemorative shirt and institutional award to Julieta “La Colo” Miguez, a long‑time forward who recently announced her retirement. The club highlighted her career that began at the San Bernardo school, included stints with Boca Juniors and Lugano, and was largely built at Luján, where she helped the team reach the Primera B division.

Governor Carlos Sadir of Jujuy province officially recognized the winners of the 2026 Copa Jujuy – Atlético San Pedro (men’s) and Club Palermo (women’s) – at a ceremony in the Casa de Gobierno. Palermo secured its fourth consecutive women’s title, while San Pedro celebrated a triple‑championship, underscoring the tournament’s role in promoting sport across the province.
