Argentina women's regional football tournament schedules first-round matches for August

The 2026 Torneo Regional Federal Amateur femenino in Argentina will launch its first round on August 1, with return legs on August 8. The competition features 120 women's clubs from across the country in a two‑leg knockout format.

In the Cuyo region, Sportivo Pedal will face Deportivo Argentino, while in the central region, Central Córdoba will meet San Martín de Monte Quemado. Winners of these ties advance directly to the third round, bypassing the second stage. Subsequent rounds will continue through August and September, determining the regional representatives for the tournament’s final stage.

The tournament follows AFA regulations, using points from the two matches, goal difference, and penalty kicks to decide ties. It provides a pathway for interior clubs to compete for a national title in women's football.
