Argentina women's volleyball wins two friendlies over Bulgaria

The Argentine women's national volleyball team, known as Las Panteras, concluded its tour of Santa Fe and Rosario with consecutive 3‑0 victories against Bulgaria on May 29 and 30, 2024. The first match was played at Club Atlético Unión in Santa Fe, ending 25‑17, 28‑26, 25‑12, and the second at Newell’s Old Boys stadium in Rosario, finishing 25‑19, 25‑19, 25‑21.

Key performances included Bianca Cugno, who led scoring with 24 points in the first game and 22 in the second and was named MVP of the opening match. Bianca Farriol earned MVP honors in the second encounter. Other contributors were Avril García, who added 1 point in the first set and 7 in the second, and libero Victoria Caballero, who entered from the bench in both games. The wins were part of the team's preparation for upcoming international commitments in the 2026 season.
