Argentina youth volleyball Grand Prix events showcase strong performances

In Lincoln, the second Grand Prix of Avnoba organized by the Asociación de Vóleibol del Noroeste de Buenos Aires featured Rivadavia's Sub‑14 and Sub‑18 female teams. The Sub‑18 squad secured third place in its zone after a 2‑0 win over Juventud Alsina and losses to Sarmiento de Junín and Club Junín, while the Sub‑14 side finished fifth overall, winning the placement match against Juventud Alsina. Both squads were coached by Claudia Zanini and included players such as Ludmila Mazzoconi, Kiara Corral, and Margarita Sánchez.

Separately, the Federación del Voleibol Fueguino (FVF) hosted two Grand Prix on 27 June. Academia TdF Vóley captured the Sub‑12 female provincial title and qualified for the national cup in November, while also taking first place in the Sub‑16 female local stage. Other regional teams, including Casa del Deporte and ADeFu, contested the podium. The same weekend saw the Nacional Sub‑16 championship in Comodoro Rivadavia, where Tierra del Fuego representatives finished 21st in both male and female categories.
