Argentina's ADUNLu Calls Nationwide University Strike for June 16‑20

The Association of Teachers of the National University of Luján (ADUNLu) announced that it will join a nationwide university strike from 16 to 20 June 2024, as part of the broader CONADU Histórica plan. The federation demands full implementation of the University Funding Law, adequate public financing for universities and the opening of national collective‑bargaining negotiations for university staff. ADUNLu criticised the national government’s handling of university budgets and salary talks, warning that the ongoing conflict could further deteriorate the public higher‑education system and jeopardise academic, administrative and research activities in the second half of the academic year.
