Argentina's ANMAT bans Clean Laby and Clorquim cleaning products

The Argentine health regulator ANMAT ordered a nationwide withdrawal of cleaning‑product lines from the brands Clean Laby and Clorquim, citing lack of sanitary registration and an inability to identify the manufacturers. The prohibition covers all batches of disinfectants, insecticides, surface finishers and related items sold under those brands, and will remain in force until the products and their producers are regularised.

In the same period ANMAT introduced broader regulatory measures: it issued new requirements for technical directors of medical‑device companies, revoked certification for 15 firms that lacked a qualified technical director, and moved forward a presidential decree creating an Administration of National Health Establishments to improve procurement and oversight. A draft law was also circulated to modify pharmacy sales rules, including digital sales and the removal of certain partnership structures.
