Argentina's ANSES rolls out July 2026 pension increase and $70,000 bonus

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced that pensions and social benefits will be adjusted in July 2026 following a 2.15% increase linked to the 2.1% May inflation rate. The minimum pension will rise to 411,989.33 pesos and recipients of the lowest benefits will receive an extraordinary bonus of 70,000 pesos, bringing their total monthly income to 481,989.33 pesos. The bonus also applies to the Universal Pension for the Elderly, non‑contributory pensions, and the mothers‑of‑seven‑children pension, all reaching the same total amount.

ANSES also released the payment calendar for July, assigning specific deposit dates based on the final digit of beneficiaries' ID numbers. In addition, the agency updated the Unit of Cancellation of Pre‑visional Contributions (UCAP) to 39,392.85 pesos, affecting the cost calculations for its debt‑payment plan. Finally, the agency detailed the July disbursement schedule for Progresar scholarships, with full payments of 105,000 pesos for higher‑education students and 84,000 pesos (after a 20% retention) for primary, secondary and first‑year university students.
