Argentina's ANSES adjusts pension minimum and family allowances in June 2026

A study by the Centro de Economía Política Argentina (CEPA) found that keeping the previous pension‑mobility formula would make the minimum pension 21.6% higher, reaching about 490,621 pesos in June 2026, compared with the current 473,318 pesos set by ANSES. The analysis notes that the current minimum, which includes a 70,000‑peso bonus and a half‑yearly bonus, totals 674,977 pesos, and that the difference stems from the older formula’s inclusion of wage and contribution growth, unlike the current formula that only follows the consumer‑price index.

In June 2026 the National Social Security Administration (ANSES) will also apply a 2.58% increase to family benefits using the April consumer‑price index. The child allowance (AFH) will rise to 72,474 pesos for families earning up to 1,122,074 pesos, with lower tiers of 48,888, 29,570 and 15,257 pesos for higher incomes. One‑off payments will be set at 84,478 pesos for birth, 126,489 pesos for marriage and 505,070 pesos for adoption, while the annual school aid will be 55,672 pesos. Income caps for eligibility will be 2,970,968 pesos per person and 5,941,936 pesos per household.
