Argentina's ANSES rolls out August 2026 pension rise and benefit upgrades

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced a 1.89% increase in pensions and other benefits effective August 2026. The minimum monthly pension will rise to $419,775.93 and the maximum to $2,824,694.49. A one‑time bonus of $70,000 will continue for the lowest‑earning retirees.

Family allowances were also adjusted: AUH payments increase by 1.89% to $491,173 per child with disability, with higher regional rates in Patagonia. The Universal Child Allowance and other family benefits received specific new amounts (e.g., $75,433 for the first range). The Acompañamiento Social program will keep its monthly payment of $78,000.

ANSES updated the unemployment insurance scheme, setting maximum monthly payouts at $372,400 for eligible workers. The Fomentar Empleo training grant of $78,000 will be credited on 28 July 2026. Additional measures include expanded discount networks for retirees and pensioners through the Beneficios Capital Humano program.

These changes affect millions of Argentine retirees, pensioners and unemployed workers, aligning payments with recent inflation data published by INDEC.
