ANSES raises Argentina's Universal Child Benefit and birth allowance in July‑August 2026

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced a 2.15% increase to the birth allowance, setting the July 2026 payment at 86,295 Argentine pesos for eligible families within the Unified Family Allowances System (SUAF). The increase applies to workers in dependent employment, Malvinas veterans and unemployment fund holders, while retirees and monotributistas remain excluded.

ANSES also applied a 2.1% rise to the Universal Child Benefit (AUH) for July 2026, resulting in a gross payment of 147,600 pesos per child, of which 20% is retained until beneficiaries present the AUH booklet. The disability supplement rose to 481,537 pesos. A further increase is slated for August 2026, with the AUH expected to reach 151,010 pesos (or up to 196,314 pesos if inflation hits the projected 2%). The Tarjeta Alimentar amounts remain unchanged. ANSES released the July‑August payment calendar, indicating that beneficiaries with DNI numbers ending in 0 or 1 will receive pensions, AUH and other allowances on 8 July 2026.
