Argentina's ANSES raises spousal allowance to $17,585 for retirees

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced that the spousal allowance for retirees and pensioners under the Integrated Pension System (SIPA) will be $17,585 starting June 2026. In the designated "unfavorable zone" — the provinces of La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego and the Patagones district of Buenos Aires Province — the amount will be $34,887. The higher payment applies only when benefits are received through a bank account.

ANSES also released the June 2026 payment calendar. Payments for the week of 8–12 June will be made according to the last digit of beneficiaries' DNI numbers, with a pause next week and a jump to Monday 15 June, moved to create a long weekend for the national holiday honoring General Martín Miguel de Güemes.
