Argentina's ANSES adjusts August 2026 pension payment schedule

The National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) announced that the August 2026 payment calendar for retirees, pensioners and other beneficiaries will be altered because the national holiday on 17 August – the commemoration of General José de San Martín’s “Paso a la Inmortalidad” – closes banks. Payments that would have fallen on that day are moved to the next business day, preserving the order based on the last digit of the DNI.

For beneficiaries receiving the minimum pension, payments run from 10 August (DNI 0) to 14 August (DNI 4), resume on 18 August for DNI 5, and continue through 24 August for DNI 9. Those with pensions above the minimum receive payments from 25 August (DNI 0‑1) to 31 August (DNI 8‑9). Similar schedules apply to non‑contributory pensions, the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), family allowances and the pregnancy allowance, all indexed by DNI ending.

ANSES also applied the 1.89 % mobility increase to all benefits for August and continued the $70,000 extraordinary bonus for low‑income retirees. In addition, the amount for the birth allowance (SUAF/AUH) was updated to $87,926 for children born in August 2026. Beneficiaries are urged to verify their exact payment dates through the official calendar on the Mi ANSES portal or app.
