Argentina ANSES announces July 2026 pension and benefit increases

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) released the July 2026 payment schedule, assigning disbursement dates according to the last digit of beneficiaries’ DNI. A 2.15 % mobility adjustment raises the minimum retirement benefit to $411,989, and the government continues the $70,000 extraordinary bonus, bringing the total monthly income for the lowest earners to $481,989. The Universal Pension for Seniors (PUAM) also rises to $329,591, with the same $70,000 bonus adding up to $399,591.

ANSES also confirmed that its student scholarship program, Progresar, will keep paying $28,000 a month (80 % of the $35,000 gross amount) to eligible secondary, tertiary and professional students. In Santa Fe, the provincial retirement office has digitised the retirement‑application process, allowing applicants to submit requests online and avoid in‑person queues.

These measures apply to all Argentine pensioners and eligible students, with the updated payment calendar and benefit amounts taking effect from 8 July 2026 onward.
