Argentina's ANSES details July payouts and AUH increase
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) continued its July 2026 payment calendar, processing deposits for retirees, pensioners, and families receiving the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and related benefits. Payments are scheduled by the last digit of beneficiaries' ID numbers, with an extra $70,000 bonus for those receiving the minimum pension. The updates include a 2.15% mobility adjustment to the minimum pension, raising the gross amount to $419,775.92 and, with the bonus, to $489,775.92.
ANSES also announced a 1.9% increase in the AUH for August 2026, bringing the gross amount to $150,403 per child. After a statutory 20% withholding, the net household receipt will be $120,322. The AUH for children with disabilities will rise to $490,686. Additional supplements such as the Tarjeta Alimentar and the Complemento Leche will further boost household income. Official data show a shift in family‑benefit coverage: while the number of beneficiaries of the traditional Family Allowance fell by 176,099 (a 2.1% drop) due to declining formal employment, AUH recipients grew by 30,120 (0.7%), reflecting rising informal and unemployed workers.
