Argentina implements new digital tools for domestic worker pay and tax management

The Argentine Tax and Customs Agency (ARCA) has launched a new digital tool called ‘Recibo Asistido’ to assist employers of domestic workers with salary settlements. Under General Resolution 5912/2026, the system automatically calculates various salary components based on registered data and employer input. While the tool provides a preliminary settlement, employers remain legally responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all payments and contributions.

In the province of Entre Ríos, the Court of Accounts has implemented a centralized automated system to cross-reference data regarding salaries, pensions, social programs, and death records. This measure aims to modernize audits and detect inconsistencies such as duplicate payments or erroneous disbursements. While currently active for provincial administration, municipalities and communes will be required to integrate into the system starting in 2027.

Additionally, the Fuegian Tax Collection Agency (AREF) has announced an exceptional tax debt regularization program. From October 15 to December 31, 2026, taxpayers can access financing plans of up to 60 installments, including options for up to six interest-free installments. The program allows for the regularization of expired payment plans and obligations currently in administrative or judicial stages.
