Argentina's ARCA raises Monotributo thresholds by 16.8%

The Agencia de Recaudación y Control Aduanero (ARCA) announced a 16.8% increase in the Monotributo income limits and monthly contributions, effective 1 August 2026. All 11 categories see higher annual turnover caps, from $12,009,410.45 in Category A to $126,610,838.75 in Category K, and the corresponding monthly fees rise accordingly.

ARCA opened the recategorization portal until 5 August, allowing contributors to adjust their category based on the last twelve months of gross income, rentals, land area and electricity consumption. The process is completed online via the ARCA portal using CUIT and fiscal key. Contributors whose parameters remain within their current limits need not act; those whose figures have changed must recategorize or risk remaining in an outdated bracket. The revised amounts will appear on the August 20 payment deadline.
