Argentina's Bancor and BPN Issue $78.5M in New Debt

The Banco de la Provincia de Córdoba (Bancor) completed a $75 million bond issuance on the Argentine capital market. The offering was split into three instruments—UVA‑linked, dollar‑denominated and peso‑denominated—at fixed rates of 6.75% (24‑month), 5.95% (36‑month) and a variable rate of TAMAR + 2.5% (12‑month) respectively. Proceeds are earmarked for financing productive projects and family‑support activities in the province of Córdoba.

Separately, the Banco Provincia de Neuquén (BPN) placed a $3.5 million private negotiable bond under its $50 million global issuance program. The one‑year instrument carries a fixed annual interest rate of 5.50% and will be repaid in full at maturity. The bond aims to strengthen BPN’s liquidity position and sustain its service to the Neuquén community.
