Argentina's blue dollar and euro rates climb on Aug 4

On Tuesday, 4 August, Argentina’s informal (blue) dollar quoted at 1,535 ARS for buying and 1,555 ARS for selling, up from the previous day’s 1,540 ARS buy rate. The official dollar, set by the Central Bank, was 1,465 ARS buy and 1,515 ARS sell.

The blue euro opened at 1,804.75 ARS for selling and 1,844.75 ARS for buying, while the official euro rate was 1,660 ARS buy and 1,760 ARS sell. The tourist‑card euro (euro tarjeta) traded around 2,281.98 ARS. Rates are published by the Bolsa y Mercados Argentinos (BYMA) and the Central Bank of Argentina, with the official market closing at 15:00 local time and the blue market operating without a fixed close.
