Argentina's CAME launches Gas, Petroleum and Mining sector

The Confederación Argentina de la Mediana Empresa (CAME) announced the creation of a new Gas, Petroleum and Mining sector. The sector will be headed by San Juan native Dino Minnozzi, who also serves as CAME’s secretary of Services and coordinator of the industry sector. CAME President Ricardo Diab said the initiative aims to generate resources and wealth for the country and to integrate Argentine companies into a value chain that benefits commerce, industry and services.

The sector includes representatives from a dozen provinces—including Buenos Aires, Catamarca, Chaco, Chubut, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Neuquén, Río Negro, Salta, San Juan, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Tierra del Fuego and the City of Buenos Aires—and joins existing CAME sectors such as Commerce, Industry, Tourism, Regional Economies, Construction and Foreign Trade. Vice‑president Claudia Fernández and secretary general Beatriz Tourn also participated in the launch.
