Argentina rolls out free health screenings and community wellness events

Several Argentine cities are hosting free health‑focused activities in August. In Mendoza, cardiologist Soledad Tejera announced free cardiovascular checks and CPR workshops during the 21K Guaymallén marathon. In Santiago del Estero, the XX Jornadas Santiagueñas de Cardiología and the V Jornadas de Enfermería will gather specialists to discuss prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, with participation from Health Minister Natividad Nassif and local health officials. Zárate’s municipal government launched an inter‑institutional network to protect the rights of children and adolescents, linking health, education and justice services.
