Argentina's Casa Rosada political coordination meeting sets weekly agenda

The government's political coordination table (Mesa Política) met at the Casa Rosada for a new weekly session. Ministers, legislators and senior officials, including President Javier Milei, Economy Minister Luis Caputo, and Chief of the Cabinet Diego Santilli, reviewed the main executive initiatives and the parliamentary agenda.

Key items discussed were the progress of the Law of Inviolability of Private Property slated for Senate consideration on 16 July, and amendments to the Innocence Fiscal project that will be sent to the Chamber of Deputies on 20 July. Caputo presented the latest economic data from INDEC, noting a 6.3 % monthly and 4.1 % year‑on‑year rise in construction activity in May. The meeting also covered ongoing reforms led by Caputo, President Milei and Minister Federico Sturzenegger, including changes to the Central Bank, health coverage for federal security forces, and preventive coordination by the Federal Emergency Agency and the National Meteorological Service ahead of possible El Niño impacts. Santilli reported on talks with provincial governors to advance the government's reform agenda.
