Argentina's Chaco Mobile Health Train Serves 3,500 Residents

The “Tren 25 de Mayo” mobile health unit completed its first stage in Hermoso Campo, Chaco Province, where more than 3,500 people received services amounting to over 5,000 individual provisions. The train offered medical specialties such as audiology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, dentistry, cardiology, mental health, obstetrics, nursing and vaccinations, as well as documentation assistance (civil registry, RENAPER, ANSES) and an educational‑recreational wagon with a library and micro‑cinema.

The initiative, led by the national Ministry of Human Capital in coordination with the Chaco Ministry of Human Development and cabinet coordinator Carolina Meiriño, will continue its itinerary, moving to General Pinedo (June 8‑12) and then to other stations in Roque Sáenz Peña, Fontana and Resistencia through early July, aiming to bring health, social and educational services to remote communities.
