Argentina's Chaco Province Launches Mobile Service Train in Hermoso Campo

From June 1 to June 5, the "Tren 25 de Mayo" arrived in Hermoso Campo, Chaco, bringing a mobile unit equipped with health‑care facilities and administrative offices. The train offers a range of medical services—including audiology, ophthalmology, general medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, cardiology, mental health, obstetrics, nursing, vaccinations and ultrasounds—as well as cultural activities such as a library and micro‑cinema.

Government agencies present on the train include Ñachec, IPRODICH, the provincial civil registry, RENAPER, ANSES and other national bodies, allowing residents to complete civil‑registry, identification and social‑security procedures without traveling to larger cities. Officials from both the provincial and national ministries attended the launch, emphasizing the effort to bring preventive health care and bureaucratic assistance to remote communities.

Following Hermoso Campo, the train will continue its itinerary to General Pinedo (June 8‑12), Sáenz Peña (June 15‑19), Fontana Cacuí (June 22‑26) and conclude in Resistencia (June 29‑July 3).
