Argentina's Danone plant in Garín receives ministerial visit

Mayor Ariel Sujarchuk of Escobar and Buenos Aires Province production minister Augusto Costa toured the Danone Specialized Nutrition facility in the Garín industrial park. The plant employs 172 workers and manufactures 84 nationally‑produced nutrition products, including infant brands Nutrilon, Vital and LS Baby, as well as medical nutrition solutions.

About 52 % of the output is exported, reaching markets such as Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Costa Rica through the Nutricia Worldwide network, while the remaining 48 % supplies the Argentine market. Both officials highlighted the visit as evidence of coordinated public‑private action that drives industrial development, innovation and quality employment, with Sujarchuk stating, "Esta empresa es un orgullo local que demuestra la importancia del trabajo articulado entre el Estado y el sector privado para impulsar el desarrollo, la innovación y el empleo de calidad."
