Argentina offers diverse natural landscapes for outdoor enthusiasts, ranging from the mountains of Santiago del Estero to the cloud forests of Salta.

In Santiago del Estero, Villa La Punta serves as a tourist hub within the Sierras de Guasayán. Unlike the province's more arid regions, this area features springs and watercourses that support lush vegetation and diverse wildlife. The region is recognized as an Important Bird Area (IBA) and offers activities such as trekking and cycling, including routes to Cerro de la Cruz.

In the northern province of Salta, the town of Los Toldos is situated within the fertile Yungas ecoregion near the Bolivian border. The area is characterized by high humidity, cloud forests, and significant biodiversity. A key attraction is the El Nogalar de Los Toldos National Reserve, which protects over 3,000 hectares of native vegetation, including walnut trees and cedars, offering various hiking trails through the mountain jungle.
