Argentina's Entre Ríos and Chaco Provinces Swear In New Judicial Officials
In the province of Entre Ríos, Vice‑Governor and Senate President Alicia Aluani administered oaths to substitute members of the Superior Tribunal of Justice on 30 June 2026. Doctors Alejandro Grippo, Santiago Brugo and Matilde Federik, among others, were sworn in to intervene in the cases involving Cecilia Andrea Goyeneche and Jorge Amilcar Luciano García, with senior legislative staff present.
In Chaco, a ceremony at the auditorium of the Superior Tribunal de Justicia saw 25 new lawyers take the oath of office. The event was chaired by tribunal president Enrique Varela and attended by the provincial prosecutor general Jorge Canteros and defender general Alicia Alcalá. Speakers urged the new attorneys to “advocate for the full enforcement of fundamental rights and public liberties” and to follow the republican virtues of Juan Bautista Alberdi.
