Argentina's Entre Ríos launches call for 41st theatre gathering

The Secretariat of Culture of Entre Ríos province, together with the host municipalities of Gualeguay and General Galarza and the Provincial Independent Theatre Council (Contier), opened registration on 19 June for the 41st Encuentro Entrerriano de Teatro. Applications are accepted online until 10 July, and the event will take place from 21‑23 August.

Twelve productions will be selected from across the province, each limited to a single performance of 40‑90 minutes. Selection criteria include a maximum of three works from the host cities, at least two children’s shows, and representation from each of the five Contier regions. Chosen groups will receive a cash award of 750,000 Argentine pesos and will join the official programme of CUAC! Cultura Activa, the province’s annual cultural circuit.
