Argentina's Liga Profesional announces July‑August 2026 fixtures

The Argentine Liga Profesional de Fútbol released the schedule for the final weeks of its 2026 Clausura season. The opening match will be played on Thursday, 23 July, with champions Belgrano hosting the first game. Gimnasia will travel to Racing the next day, and Estudiantes will debut on Sunday, 26 July, after playing the Supercopa Argentina final against Independiente Rivadavia on 21 July at Belgrano.

Subsequent dates include Estudiantes hosting River on 29 July, Belgrano facing Boca at La Bombonera on 5 August, and Belgrano hosting Defensa y Justicia on 1 August before meeting Boca later in the week. The schedule also notes that Boca will be occupied with the Copa Sudamericana round‑of‑16 against O’Higgins, and that other clubs such as Aldosivi will be visited by local teams later in the month.
