Argentina's Los Pumas to Host South Africa and Australia

Argentina’s national rugby side, Los Pumas, have completed the first three rounds of the Nations Championship and will host two overseas opponents. On 8 August the two‑time world champions South Africa, coached by Rassie Erasmus, will play a test at the José Amalfitani Stadium in Vélez. The Wallabies, now led by Les Kiss after Joe Schmidt’s departure, will face the Pumas in Jujuy on 29 August at the Estadio 23 de agosto and again in Mendoza on 5 September at the Malvinas Argentinas venue. A 34‑player squad, including ten uncapped athletes, was named by head coach Felipe Contepomi. The matches also decide the Visa Galicia Cup, with the Pumas seeking to improve on a historic record of 4 wins, 1 draw and 35 losses against South Africa and 10 wins, 3 draws and 30 defeats against Australia.
