Argentina's 'Mi idilio con La Habana' concert at Puebla de Guzmán sanctuary

The onubense cantaora known as Argentina will stage a free concert titled “Mi idilio con La Habana” on 21 August at the Santuario de la Virgen de la Peña in Puebla de Guzmán, Spain. The event, organized under the Huelva Destino Música programme, will combine flamenco, son, bolero and salsa, featuring the singer together with the ensemble Son de Cuba & Compañía.

Deputy Culture Minister Gracia Baquero highlighted the uniqueness of the venue, noting that “there are performances that take place on a stage and others where the place itself becomes part of the show”. She added that the concert “builds a musical bridge between Andalucía and Cuba, showing that both lands share a similar way of feeling and living music”. Local officials – Mayor Antonio Beltrán, brother‑major of the Hermandad Francisco Javier Ramos and cultural coordinator José Tomás Paulino – attended the presentation and praised the initiative for bringing high‑level cultural proposals to municipalities and valorising heritage sites.
