Argentina's PAMI and Servired update specialist selection and virtual therapy authorizations

The Programa de Atención Médica Integral (PAMI) now lets members choose their own specialist doctors and diagnostic centres from the official provider list. Requests to change a provider can be made through PAMI’s online portal, with changes processed for the following month if submitted between the 1st‑20th, or the month after that for submissions made between the 21st‑30th.

Servired, the platform used by Argentine social health insurers, has issued detailed instructions for psychologists in Córdoba to obtain online authorizations for virtual psychotherapy. The standard allowance is two sessions per month, requiring a report to increase that limit. The process includes completing a request form with patient data, diagnosis codes, and professional signatures, then uploading the request through Servired’s login portal.
