Argentina's provincial courts interview judge candidates and announce winter recess

The Bar Association of Trenque Lauquen in Buenos Aires Province conducted interviews for candidates seeking positions as a Judge of Guarantees and a Judge of the Criminal Oral Tribunal. The interviews were led by the association’s president Dr. Juan Manuel Rojo and other officials, forming part of the selection process overseen by the provincial Council of the Magistracy, which will forward a shortlist for appointment by the provincial executive and Senate.

The Superior Court of Justice of Neuquén announced a winter judicial recess from 13 July to 24 July. During the recess, administrative offices and peace courts will operate with reduced staff, while jurisdictional bodies will maintain essential guard duties and handle urgent criminal matters, including hearings for detained persons and sentence executions. Full judicial activity is scheduled to resume on 27 July.
