Argentina's provincial leaders inaugurate school director awards and community housing program

In San Luis Province, Governor Claudio Poggi opened the renovation of the Juan Pascual Pringles school and honored three newly appointed directors—Mónica Lucero, Cintia Ortegas and Laura Jourdan—after they passed a competitive selection process. Education Minister Guillermo Araujo presented certificates and a copy of the book “Malvinas, El Legado,” emphasizing the importance of qualified leadership for the province’s schools.

In the Buenos Aires Province municipality of Longchamps, Almirante Brown, Governor Axel Kicillof and local official Mariano Cascallares inaugurated the new Centro Integrador Comunitario (SUM). The opening ceremony included the delivery of 1,521 free property deeds to families, part of a $725 million investment to provide community facilities, job‑training, school support, sports, cultural activities and the Envión program. The municipality also joined the “Libres y Protagonistas” youth initiative.
