Argentina's provincial school competitions highlight student innovation

A provincial science fair in San Luis will showcase 294 student projects from six educational regions on 19 August at the Escuela Autogestionada “Serranías Puntanas”. The fair reflects growing participation from local schools in science, technology, art, culture and mathematics, and aims to position the province as a regional innovation hub.

In La Pampa, fifteen secondary schools received technology kits to compete in the semifinal of the EducaBot Robotics Cup on 11 August at the Marcelino Catrón Secondary School in Santa Rosa. About 100 students and 20 teachers will design, build and program wind‑energy robots, with the kits remaining for future projects. The semifinal determines the schools that will advance to the national final in Neuquén.
