Argentina's Regional Handball Leagues Conclude in Castelli and Junín

The fifth and final round of the Liga Castelense de Handball was held at the Microestadio Arena Impenetrable in Juan José Castelli, Chaco. The municipal government, led by Mayor Pío Sander and Subsecretary of Sports Roberto Scheffer, praised the event for fostering community spirit and highlighted the tournament’s role in promoting healthy youth activities. Champions were crowned in both the women's and men's categories.

Meanwhile, the 4th Nacional de Ligas de Handball took place from 9 to 12 May in Junín, Colón and Salto. Teams from Centro Galicia (Ushuaia) finished third in their respective male and female groups. The tournament featured clubs from several Argentine provinces and Uruguay, with final matches determining the overall winners in each division.
