Argentina's San Fernando and Resistencia host weekend cultural celebrations

The municipality of San Fernando organized a weekend program to mark the Day of the Italian Immigrant, featuring live music, traditional dances, a yoga session in the Parque Náutico, an art exhibition titled “Retrospectiva,” and theatrical productions including “Made in Lanús” and “El Ardor.” Food stalls offered Italian‑style pastries, olive oil and Limoncello, and the events were free to the public.

In Resistencia, officials inaugurated the renovated Parque Urbano 2 de Febrero. The ceremony included a skate‑boarding demonstration, a performance by the municipal band, the unveiling of artist Mimo Eidman’s sculpture “Sueños compartidos,” and a series of cultural shows by local schools. Additional activities comprised guided tours, a bike‑rental program, a children’s traffic‑safety lane, vaccination booths for pets, and a market of food trucks and local entrepreneurs.
