The top tier Turismo Carretera (TC 2000) series will race at the Autódromo de Toay on August 8‑9, marking the category's return to the Pampean circuit after a five‑year hiatus. The event will run alongside the 32nd Top Race championship and the Argentine Formula Nacional series. Lincoln‑based team YPF Elaion Auro Proracing fields three drivers positioned among the leaders: Franco Morillo sits third in the standings with 63 points, followed by teammates Franco Vivian and Franco Riva.
In the support TC Pista class, rookie Eugenio Provens of Galarza Racing reflects on his debut season. He currently holds sixth place with one win, 51 points behind championship leader Bautista Damiani. Provens stresses the improvement of his Dodge Challenger and aims to finish among the top twelve to qualify for the Copa de Plata, noting his upcoming race at the San Juan circuit where he is familiar with the track.
