Argentina's Tierra del Fuego and Santa Fe provinces digitise public administration

The government of Tierra del Fuego enacted Provincial Law No. 1624, creating a unique Provincial Labour History Registry that will centralise the employment records of public agents, streamline pension procedures and increase transparency. The president of the provincial pension fund, Roberto Bogarín, said, “Es un salto histórico hacia la modernización previsional y la transparencia estatal.”

In Santa Fe, the provincial administration went fully digital on 1 July, ending the use of paper files for central government procedures. The change, part of the Territorio 5.0 strategy promoted by Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, allows citizens to file requests through the “Mi Santa Fe” portal, with electronic signatures and real‑time tracking. Pullaro emphasized that the reform “mejorar la calidad de vida de los santafesinos” by eliminating lengthy queues and bureaucratic delays.
