Argentina's Tiro Federal La Rioja and Río Grande host national archery events

Two delegations from Tiro Federal La Rioja travelled to compete in top‑level national competitions. The youth team of Camilo Silva, Azul Verón, Julieta Asís and Emiliano Rodríguez participated in the Campeonato Nacional Juvenil in Buenos Aires, contesting 10 m rifle, 10 m rifle break‑fire and 50 m open‑air rifle events. A second delegation entered the “Madre de Ciudades” open‑air archery tournament in Santiago del Estero, seeking bonus points that affect the national ranking and selection for the Argentine archery team.

In Río Grande, the Agrupación Fueguina de Tiro con Arco (AFTA) organized the city’s first national archery tournament at the Microstadium annex. Nine archers competed on Saturday and about thirty on Sunday, representing clubs from across Tierra del Fuego. The event was part of AFTA’s tenth anniversary celebrations and counted toward the national ranking, with organizers urging further participation and additional ranking‑valid dates next year.
