Argentina's Universities Open New Enrollment Opportunities for Prospective Students
The Faculty of Education at the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo) will host an open‑day event called “Facultad Abierta” on Wednesday, 12 August, from 18:00 to 21:00 at its Sobremonte 81 campus in Mendoza. The session will showcase the faculty’s degree programmes, allow prospective students to speak with current students, teachers and graduates, and provide details on admission timelines. Applications for undergraduate teacher‑training, licentiate and technical programmes will be accepted from 24 August to 25 September.
The National University of La Plata (UNLP) has opened registration for its “Aspirantes mayores de 25 años” programme, aimed at adults who have not completed secondary school but wish to begin university studies. Registration is open until 21 August, with an informational meeting on 14 August at the university’s Karakachoff building. Applicants must submit a form and undergo an in‑person aptitude assessment covering language, mathematics, social sciences and natural sciences between 13 October and 6 November 2026. Successful candidates will be eligible to enroll in degree programmes despite lacking a high‑school diploma.
