Argentina promotes disability inclusion through regional training and community events

Various regions in Argentina are conducting initiatives focused on disability and special education. In Río Negro, more than 300 educators, administrators, families, and therapeutic assistants participated in training sessions in Viedma and Ingeniero Jacobacci to strengthen inclusive educational processes.

In Sáenz Peña, the municipality and the Mesa por la Inclusión have announced a series of activities for October, designated as Special Education Month. The schedule includes a recreational day at the Municipal Ecological Complex on October 6, an Inclusive Fair at Plaza Alfonsina on October 16, and a awareness walk on October 30.

Additionally, the municipality of Crespo, in collaboration with the Escuela Privada de Educación Integral Nº 11, is hosting a month-long program titled ‘Trabajemos por la Inclusión’. The agenda features a fair in Plaza Sarmiento, film screenings and debates, a marathon, and various community gatherings designed to promote equality and participation for people with disabilities.
